Multi-Branch Routing for Compact Pneumatic Systems

The PK family of push-in fittings provides several options for distributing pneumatic tubing from a single connection point. The triple designs are useful when an air circuit needs multiple branches while maintaining an organized and space-conscious layout. Their push-in construction also makes assembly faster than conventional threaded tube connections.

One Connection Family, Four Configurations

All four series share the same installation-oriented design:

● Quick and flexible push-in tube connection

● Compact construction for space-saving pneumatic piping

● Tube direction can be adjusted after installation

● Ellipse-shaped release ring for easier tube disconnection

● Taper threads pre-coated with Teflon for sealing performance

● Internal hexagonal holes for mounting in narrow locations

The configuration can then be selected according to the required tubing arrangement:

● PK Series – Equal Triple: provides an equal triple connection for distributing tubing through three equivalent connection paths.

● PKB Series – Reduced Branch Triple: designed for a triple arrangement with a reduced branch connection.

● PKD Series – Branch Triple: provides a conventional branch triple layout for multi-way pneumatic distribution.

● PKG Series – Unequal Triple: accommodates an unequal triple arrangement where different connection paths are required.

Where These Triple Fittings Fit

These pneumatic triple fittings can be used in automation machinery, packaging equipment, assembly systems, pneumatic control circuits, and compressed-air distribution lines. The different configurations make it easier to match the fitting to the actual tubing layout rather than adapting the piping around a single connection style.

Installation and Tube Adjustment

Installation requires only a clean tube cut and full insertion into the selected connection port. The fitting can then be positioned to suit the piping direction. When servicing is required, the ellipse-shaped release ring allows the tube to be disconnected with less effort. For restricted installation areas, the internal hexagonal hole provides a practical way to tighten the fitting with a suitable tool.

With several triple configurations available, the PK series gives pneumatic system designers greater flexibility when building compact multi-branch tubing layouts.
