Pneumatic Tubing

Flexible, pressure-resistant, and wide temperature range — the Fokca pneumatic tubing series includes PU (polyurethane), PA (nylon), and PTFE (Teflon) tubing, meeting diverse application needs and providing reliable transmission solutions for various pneumatic systems.

What is Pneumatic Tubing?

Pneumatic tubing is a key component that connects various pneumatic elements, responsible for delivering compressed air from the air preparation unit to actuators such as cylinders, valves, and pneumatic tools. It also plays a critical role in determining system flow, pressure, and operating temperature.

Proper tubing selection directly affects system response, pressure loss, and long-term reliability. Tubing that is too soft may expand under high pressure, causing slow response; tubing that is too rigid may kink at bends; tubing with insufficient temperature resistance may soften or even burst in high-temperature environments.

Therefore, choosing the right, high-quality pneumatic tubing is essential for ensuring stable operation, reducing maintenance costs, and improving overall efficiency.

Key Advantages of Fokca Pneumatic Tubing

Fokca primarily offers three major series: PU (polyurethane), PA (nylon), and PTFE (Teflon) tubing, meeting different requirements for flexibility, pressure resistance, and temperature resistance. Additional options include PE and PVC tubing, as well as various material grades such as polyether-based PU, PA6, PA12, and PA66. Custom solutions like anti-spark tubing, multi-core tubing, and coiled tubing are also available.

Multiple colors, metric and imperial sizes, and various wall thicknesses are supported. Tube marking, custom labels, and packaging can be tailored to meet diverse application needs.

PU Polyurethane Pneumatic Tubing — Flexible, Versatile, Wear-Resistant

PU tubing offers excellent flexibility and elasticity, with outstanding resistance to bending fatigue, making it ideal for moving parts and frequent motion. It features a small bending radius, fast recovery after deformation, and is well-suited for confined spaces.

FAQs

Q1: What is the difference between PU and PA pneumatic tubing?
A:

· PU tubing: flexible and elastic, ideal for moving and bending applications

· PA tubing: rigid, high-pressure and wear-resistant, ideal for fixed and high-pressure systems

Q2: Why is PTFE tubing more expensive?
A: PTFE material has higher raw material and processing costs, but offers exceptional high-temperature resistance (up to 200°C+), chemical resistance, and low friction, making it ideal for demanding and harsh environments.

Q3: Can pneumatic tubing be used for water or oil?
A:

· PU tubing: suitable for water and low-pressure oil (not for fuel or high-pressure oil)

· PA tubing: suitable for water, oil, and fuel with good oil resistance

· PTFE tubing: suitable for various liquids and gases with excellent chemical resistance
