HVSS and HVSS-G pneumatic hand valves provide manual control of compressed air in pneumatic systems. Available in two-way and three-way configurations, they support air shut-off, with three-way models also releasing downstream residual pressure when switched off.
The HVSS Series uses R tapered pipe threads, while the HVSS-G Series features G parallel threads. Their threaded connections and compact lever-operated design suit pneumatic machinery, maintenance points, and industrial air circuits.
HVSS and HVSS-G hand valves let operators switch pneumatic airflow directly at the point of use. The lever-operated mechanism provides straightforward manual control without requiring an electrical signal, making these valves useful for equipment isolation, setup, and maintenance.
Choose the valve configuration according to the circuit’s operating needs:
● Two-way type: Stops incoming air but does not discharge downstream residual pressure when switched off.
● Three-way type: Stops the air supply and vents residual pressure from the outlet side, helping prepare connected equipment for servicing.
Some air exhaust during operation is a normal characteristic. The maximum working pressure must not exceed 1.0 MPa.
The HVSS Series uses R tapered pipe threads, with listed sizes from R1/8 to R1/2. The HVSS-G Series uses G parallel threads, ranging from G1/8 to G1/2. The models shown include equal and mixed thread sizes at the two ports, allowing selection according to the existing pneumatic connection.
Other thread standards, including BSP, NPT, PT, and metric options, may be available upon request. Confirm the exact thread standard before ordering, as these thread types are not interchangeable in every application.
These pneumatic hand valves suit automation equipment, packaging machinery, assembly stations, and pneumatic maintenance circuits.
● Match both port thread sizes to the system connections.
● Install according to the airflow arrow on the valve body.
● Turn the lever fully to the required operating position.
● Before maintenance, isolate the air source and verify that the circuit is depressurized.
Select a two-way model when residual pressure must not be vented through the valve, or a three-way model when downstream pressure release is required.
