HVFS and HVFS-G pneumatic hand valves provide manual control of airflow in pneumatic circuits. Available in two-way and three-way configurations, they allow operators to shut off air or release downstream residual pressure, depending on the selected model.
The HVFS Series supports multiple tapered thread options, while the HVFS-G Series is designed for G-thread connections. Both accommodate compatible nylon and polyurethane tubing, with tube sizes from 6 to 12 mm in the listed metric models.
HVFS Series and HVFS-G Series pneumatic hand valves are designed for manual switching of compressed air in pneumatic equipment. The hand-operated lever provides convenient control during normal operation, equipment adjustment, and maintenance. Their push-in tube connections simplify integration into pneumatic lines.
Choose the valve configuration according to the system's shut-off and pressure-release requirements:
● Two-way hand valve: Stops the incoming airflow when closed. It does not provide downstream residual-pressure exhaust.
● Three-way hand valve: Stops the air supply and releases residual pressure from the downstream side when closed, making it useful for equipment that requires depressurization before servicing.
Some air may exhaust from the valve during operation. This is a normal operating characteristic of the design.
The HVFS Series offers tapered pipe thread options, including R1/8, R1/4, R3/8, and R1/2, depending on the model. The HVFS-G Series uses G threads from G1/8 to G1/2 across the available configurations. Additional thread standards, such as NPT and metric threads, can be discussed for specific requirements.
Both series are suitable for compatible polyurethane (PU) and nylon (PA) tubing. Listed metric tube outer diameters are 6, 8, 10, and 12 mm.
HVFS pneumatic hand valves are used in automation machinery, pneumatic workstations, assembly equipment, and air-supply circuits that need local manual control.
● Match the valve's tube diameter and thread type to the existing connections.
● Follow the flow-direction marking on the valve body.
● Turn the handle fully to the intended position.
● Before maintenance, isolate the air supply and verify that the circuit is depressurized.
Operating limits: Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa; the specified temperature range is 0–60°C. Select the appropriate two-way or three-way model based on the system's pressure-release requirements.
