Compared with conventional rod cylinders, the rodless design enables longer travel within the same installation length. Enhanced wear-resistant components and optimized sealing improve durability, reduce operating pressure, and provide reliable performance for continuous industrial automation.


CY3B/CY3R Magnetically Coupled Rodless Cylinder

The CY3B/CY3R Magnetically Coupled Rodless Cylinder is engineered for automation systems requiring long-stroke linear motion in confined spaces. Instead of using a conventional piston rod, the cylinder employs a high-strength magnetic coupling system that transfers movement from the internal piston to the external carriage. This design reduces the overall installation length while maintaining smooth, accurate, and reliable operation throughout the stroke.

 

Compared with the previous NCY1B/R Series, the CY3B/CY3R features an upgraded wear-resistant resin guide ring, increasing wear resistance by approximately 70% and improving shaft load capacity. A specially designed dust-proof ring also lowers the minimum operating pressure by around 30%, allowing smoother operation while extending service life. Since the installation dimensions remain compatible with the NCY1B/R Series, upgrading existing equipment is simple and cost-effective.
