SSLA Series Pneumatic Muffler

SSLA Pneumatic Mufflers for Compact Port Connections

The SSLA Series features a compact body with a threaded base and a top element that can be accessed during installation. It is intended to help reduce noise from discharged compressed air while fitting into pneumatic assemblies with limited mounting space.

Materials for Different Operating Environments

SSLA pneumatic mufflers are available in brass (copper), plastic, and stainless steel. The suitable material depends on environmental exposure, equipment design, and the requirements of the application.

● Available thread sizes shown: G1/8, G1/4, G3/8, G1/2, and G3/4

● Custom BSP, NPT, PT, and Metric threads can be requested.

● Confirm material and thread specifications before ordering.

Suitable Equipment and Applications

These threaded air silencers can be fitted to compatible pneumatic valves and other compressed-air components where exhaust noise needs to be managed. Their compact form can be useful in control panels and closely arranged machinery.

Installation and Routine Checks

Match the male thread to the equipment port and tighten carefully using the appropriate tool. Leave sufficient clearance for inspection and cleaning. Check periodically for dust or oil residue, since accumulated contamination may reduce exhaust flow.
