Fokca vacuum suction cup accessories are key components for mounting, connecting, cushioning, and controlling vacuum suction cups, including suction cup mounts, spring plungers, suction cup connectors, vacuum check valves, and more.
Although they do not directly contact the workpiece, they serve as indispensable “joints” and “nerves” in a vacuum gripping system – responsible for securely mounting the suction cup to the equipment, compensating for height differences and angle deviations of workpieces, cushioning impact during contact, and isolating failed suction cups in multi-cup systems to ensure stable system operation.
◆ Suction Cup Mounts – Basic components for securing suction cups to robot arms, cylinders, or automation equipment. The equipment-side thread range covers M5 to G3/8, with both male and female threads available. The suction cup connection side accommodates cup diameters from 5mm to 50mm, meeting gripping needs from small electronic components to medium-sized workpieces. Available in multiple mounting styles including male thread, female thread, push-in, and flange types, adapting to different equipment interfaces and installation spaces.
◆ Spring Plungers – Cushioning components with built-in springs installed between the suction cup and equipment. When the suction cup contacts the workpiece, the spring compresses, absorbing impact and compensating for height differences. Three types are available:
◆ Internal Spring Type – Spring is enclosed inside the plunger body, compact design, suitable for standard applications
◆ External Spring Type – Spring is exposed, offering longer stroke and more pronounced cushioning effect, suitable for applications requiring greater height compensation
◆ Heavy-Duty External Type – Features reinforced springs and thickened construction, suitable for heavy workpieces or high-speed gripping applications
Cushioning stroke covers 10mm to 75mm, with mounting threads from M10 to M30. Both male and female threads are available, meeting full-range needs from light-duty to heavy-duty and from fine adjustment to large-stroke compensation.
◆ Suction Cup Connectors – Various adapters used to connect suction cups to mounts, extend tubing, or convert interfaces. Available in straight, elbow, bulkhead, and reducer types, offering flexible system layout options. The choice of connectors directly affects the response speed of the vacuum circuit and the utilization of installation space.
◆ Vacuum Check Valves – Automatic valves that allow airflow in only one direction, installed at the front of each suction cup. Thread sizes cover M5 to G1/2, adapting to systems ranging from small to large suction cups. In multi-cup systems, when a suction cup fails to contact the workpiece or suddenly detaches, the check valve immediately closes, isolating that cup from the main vacuum system and preventing the entire system‘s vacuum level from being compromised. Check valves serve as the “smart gatekeepers” for stable multi-cup system operation. Their core value lies in isolating failed suction cups, maintaining system vacuum, allowing a single gripper to handle workpieces of different shapes, and enabling the use of smaller vacuum generators for energy savings.

◆ Stroke Matching for Spring Plungers – When selecting a spring plunger, ensure the stroke is greater than the workpiece height difference to avoid insufficient cushioning or wasted stroke
◆ Check Valve Installation Direction – Pay attention to the flow direction arrow on the valve body, ensuring vacuum flows from the generator to the suction cup in the direction of the arrow. Reverse installation will prevent vacuum from being established
◆ Connector Sealing – For all threaded connections, it is recommended to apply thread seal tape or thread sealant to ensure airtightness of the vacuum circuit
◆ Regular Inspection – After long-term use, check whether the spring in the spring plunger has fatigued, whether the check valve is sticking or failing to seal tightly, and whether connectors have become loose
◆ Matching with Suction Cups – When selecting accessories, ensure their load capacity matches the suction cup size and workpiece weight to avoid overload
