SI ISO 6431 standard cylinder shock absorber

The cylinder shock absorber functions when the piston reaches the end of its stroke. It dissipates kinetic energy through elasticity and damping, preventing direct metal-to-metal impact, reducing wear, extending the service life of the cylinder, improving operational stability, and lowering noise. As is well known, ISO-standard cylinder actuators can be interchanged among different manufacturers; however, ISO 6431 cushioning kits cannot be freely interchanged, since the detailed cushion structures, adjustment mechanisms, and related components differ. ISO 6431 cushioning devices are generally more reliable and stable in high-speed, heavy-load applications. In addition, they offer superior sealing performance, greater wear resistance, and a longer service life.
